CIC has developed expertise in manufacturing of terminal feed applicators of various designs over the past 10 years. These applicators have proved their creditability as many of the industries making wiring harnesses in India are using our applicators. Our applicators are simple to adjust and have a base plate which fits well in any standard press of shut height of 135.8 mm. These applicators can be run on both 30mm or 40mm stroke press. The micro-setting for the crimp height is continuous (step-less). All the parts of the applicators are hardened and tempered. They are made out of alloy steel or die steel as per the functional requirement so that they give a long life. All the perishable tools are marked with permanent marking for easy identification and ordering of spares. Normally the spares are shipped the very next day of the receipt of the order. The applicators are tested before despatch and sent in ready-to-use condition. The lead time for supply of applicators is less compared to other suppliers. |

CIC has developed special applicators for making wire joint by crimping. The customer has to specify whether the carrier is on the right side or on the left side of the terminal reel and accordingly the applicator will be applicator designed. Applicators for the three winged joint terminals are also available. All the designs are standardised and the spares are made supplied on demand. |
When the thickness of terminal is more, we provide a nut and screw arrangement. The tools, terminal track, guide plates etc are tailor made as per the shape and size of the terminal. The terminal feed mechanism is normally mechanical. |

Where the user prefers pneumatic feed for the terminal, we supply the pneumatic feed applicator for them in both side feed and end feed designs. The placement of the terminal on the anvils is more accurate in pneumatic applicators as the mechanism has less wearing parts. |
These are another range of SF and EF applicators manufactured by us. They have different arrangement for the micro adjustment of the crimp height. This adjustment is also step-less. Other feature of this Feed type of applicator is that the adjustment of the crimp height of Applicator conductor and that of the insulation have no relation with the shut height of the applicator. Some users prefer this applicator for the fully automatic presses. |

Ordinary flag terminal can be accommodated in the normal type of applicators shown above. Special flag terminals where the wing goes into a slot before being locked, have also been developed by us. The feed of the terminals in this applicator is by a pneumatic cylinder. |
At times customer wants to do crimping using the loose terminals for some reason. We make applicators for such a requirement. In this system the speed of production is less as more time is needed to place loose termi. The terminal by hand. Also there is risk of the injury to the hand. We provide some safety arrangements when asked for by the client. |

In this applicator the loose terminal is loaded by hand on the seating arrangement made according to the terminal. To save the hand from being injured this loading is done outside large loose the crimping area. Only after loading the terminal when it is terminal brought below the crimper, the footswitch becomes operative. |
For the loose terminals of battery the pillar type applicator is preferred due to the design of terminal. We make this applicator as well. |

Some customers who have standardised the applicator design and want to order the applicator as per the samples or the drawings with them. We can undertake the manufacturing for them if the batch quantity is large enough. |
